More than once in the last few years I've worked with companies/developers that have made the decision to invent their own web service codes (I've seen this happen mostly in the .Net/Java world) ... and it always drives me nuts. Anyway, I've always enjoyed your HTTP posts. They're a nice reminder that yes, HTTP is important. The ”... talk is perhaps the most important one at the conference” comment was mine.
