		<description>I think you&#039;ll really enjoy RESTful Web Services. Leonard and Sam asked me to tech review the book, so I got an advance preview. There&#039;s some real good stuff in there that tries to integrate a number of smaller RESTful concepts into a larger whole.

Also, an appendix contains a discussion on HTTP Status Codes. :)</description>

		<description>Right, it&#039;s like using the error handling/codes of a windowing system, system library, or file system for your userland applications.  They don&#039;t apply in that situation.  It&#039;s an understandable mistake, since people write userland applications pretty close to the &quot;HTTP metal&quot;.

It wasn&#039;t too long ago when Web programming required sending your own HTTP headers yourself.</description>
