Because I too, when I’ve seen the screenshots and read the feature list, though I found the UML modeling tool I was looking for.

Maybe it’s just the version I used (2.2.0), but some diagrams were missing, and I found a couple of show stoppers.

It looks promising, but the bugs I had were real blockers for me.

sudo port install qt3 kdelibs3


This should install the minimal KDE stuff for Umbrello, should be much faster than your KDE install above.
